Hello Sensus Lovers! My name is Lynda Lee and I  am proud to be your National Educator for Sensus Hair Care Products.  Being a professional in the business for over 20 years and a salon owner I knew that when I started my own business I wanted the best product I could offer for my clients, as well as a company who’s values in the production of what I was offering were of the highest caliper.  Technology, environmental consciousness, natural ingredients and economically friendly to the small business were my requirements. I’m proud to say Sensus can check off each category!

My career in hairdressing started in my teens as a model.  I was very lucky to have befriended my photographer and his business partner who happened to be a make up artist for a well known hair company.  That luck landed me many opportunities in our industry modeling for hair shows, hair magazines, private label hair and clothing collections as well as personal promotion for different hairdressers.  If you lived in the DC area in the 90s I even graced the yellow pages! Or you might have an old copy of Short Hair Cuts magazine with what I like to refer to as my “Spock” hair cut!

Having grown up seeing this side of the industry with all the glamour  and to round out my education, I took the opportunity to utilize my high schools vocational programs.  These courses helped prepare me for the hairdressing and business owner roles. As I was taking these courses and modeling still I was able to help back stage and assist at shows and photo shoots.  We are one of the few industries that has such a prevalent continuing education system and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.  Being asked to educate for Sensus US 11 years ago was a dream come true!!!!!

Working behind the chair myself and knowing the issues that can come up I like to start the classes I teach with asking everyone what their experience has been with the color and what trouble shooting we need to discuss.  While I will always have an outline for the day what is most important to me is that YOU leave the class with the information that you need most.  I can show you techniques all day long or talk about Sensus, but the goal is to have you leave feeling comfortable with all the information you need to do your best work at the salon!

To be the best educator I can I must constantly learn too!!! What better than to have the company I work for be in beautiful Tuscany, Italy! I am blessed with frequent trips to our factory and the Sensus Academy where I get to learn the latest and greatest in upcoming technology and product information.  Getting to work with Sensus’  International Team is not only inspiring but the technical details I take home to pass on are a sure way to elevate your professional style.
